I am 22 years old and I have a 10 month old son. I love him to death and I have a great time with him. But I miss having friends!! We moved to Virginia right before I had Tristan so I haven't been able to get out there and meet people, and I really don't know how. Any suggestions on making new friends?? Please!!!!!

katiek I am not sure where you are in Virginia. But I was feeling the same way about my life. I have a 7mo.old little boy. And I was in a rut and daddy was seeing this. he was watching the news one night and saw a story about StrollerFit. So we found out they do it right here in Sterling @ the Dulles Sportsplex. The class meets M-F @ 10am-11am then Saturdays in Lansdowne. The instructor is really great and very motivating. The other moms are really nice. check out www.strollerfit.com/sterling.

I ditto that! Stroller Fit has been a saving grace for me. I've met other mom's and have a chance to talk to grown ups during the day. Hi Tori! Selena

I have also been trying to get over to Stroller Fit. I signed up for a moms group that weeks meetly to do fun things with the kids check out meetup.com. You can find groups in your area that would interest you. I have made some wonderful new friends that way.

I head a craft class once a month in Ashburn. Let me know if you want to participate.
I am putting a TEAM together (my 3rd year) to participate in June in the Susan G. Komen's National Race for the Cure. If you want to join my team, you can run OR walk, let me know.
I am also an active volunteer with an organization who wanting to start a CHILDREN'S MUSEUM here in Northern Virgina. Let me know if you want to help.
Lastly, I teach a class for 2 and 3 year olds once a month at the BROADLANDS NATURE CENTER (really called Stream Valley Nature Center). Each class requires pre registration and the theme changes each month. We'd love to have you.
